Volvo India aims 80% of EV sale within the next four years
Volvo, a Swedish car manufacturer, has aimed to reach 80% in sales of their EVs in India within 2025. Volvo India has planned to take the lead on the Indian EV market within the next four years with the help of their current and upcoming EVs.
Volvo has continuously released 2 EV models in the last month, which will be available for customers around September. With quite a few models in line to be released, Volvo is up against Tata motors, the current leader in EV sales. However, Volvo is a luxury brand whereas Tata is an affordable brand, so Volvo might struggle to compete against Tata’s price points and its potential competitors like the Mercedes Benz EQC.
It is going to be interesting to see Volvo cross these barriers and attain the highest sales in the upcoming years. Stay tuned to learn more.
